Beastie Boys in London, Circa 1986 [Video]
More Beastie Boys ephemera in the wake of Adam Yauch’s death…

If you can tune out the annoying whistles, this rare 1986 Beastie Boys performance is quite a trip. The show was filmed in London during the Raising Hell tour, which featured the Beasties, Run-DMC, LL Cool J and Whodini. As the YouTube description notes, the environment was hostile – bottles thrown, beers sprayed, and crowd surfing.
Note the dearly-departed MCA stage diving with no one catching him (2:32), and also shots of a super-young Lyor Cohen with lots of bling.
Songs include “Slow & Low” and “The New Style.”
