Chipotle Opens Outpost at 71 Spring Street
This spring burrito is unwrapped and ready to go.
In the six months since Chipotle first revealed its intentions to take over 71 Spring Street, the store was surprisingly quiet. Throughout the winter, there wasn’t too much visible progress to report, with former Mediterranean tenant Beba holding court with its awning. Not anymore.

Within the last few weeks, Chipotle went balls to the wall and completed the interior redesign of the space. The last traces of construction and requisite window paper are gone, and the restaurant is now officially serving.

Of course, the Mexican eatery was somehow able to finagle a full on-premise liquor license for the establishment.
