Nas Releases Music Video for “The Don”

Early last month, Nas hit up the Lower East Side to film bits and pieces for “The Don” music video. The foray into the neighborhood resulted in an exhibition of bling, including a line of Rolls Royces along Orchard Street. Production activities mainly transpired inside the newish performance venue Tammany Hall.

Now just a few short weeks later, the fruits of this filming labor are public. The video for “The Don” was released Friday afternoon on Vevo/YouTube. The final product is ripe with images of New York City, both from street level and from above. Fast forward to the 2:15 mark to catch the Tammany Hall shout-out.
