Proper Memorial for MCA Outside Paul’s Boutique on Rivington
The corner of Ludlow and Rivington Streets is finally paying propert tribute to the beloved MCA, who passed away last Friday morning. Short-lived memorials for the Beastie Boy appeared at 99 Rivington the day of his death, but were quickly eradicated. Something more substantial arrived with the last couple days, though. After all, this is friggin’ Paul’s Boutique!

Multiple candles and a bunch of flowers for the man who, with the Beastie Boys, pushed the envelope of rock and hip-hop. “Cause you can’t, you won’t, and you don’t stop…”
Bonus:

Graffiti artist ME paid tribute to the man with some posters on the building ad board.
