Stanton and Rivington Streets Finally Re-Paved
Raise your hand if you’ve nearly busted your ass (or face-planted) walking the Lower East Side during these last few weeks. Be honest. We’ve rolled our ankles a few times negotiating the scraped streets in the wake of pavement milling.
Finally, bikers and pedestrians alike can navigate the neighborhood without such worries. Stanton Street was paved last Tuesday evening; Rivington received a fresh layer of asphalt this past Monday. And last night it was Norfolk and Suffolk which got some love. About damn time!
