The DL Sound System As Heard from the Street [Video]

The DL is anything but. Some in the neighborhood are getting that familiar feeling of ye-olde bait-and-switch here at 95 Delancey. Check it.
This “restaurant,” whose license was briefly revoked by the State Liquor Authority, brought on nightlife honcho Paul Seres to charm Community Board 3 into finally approving second and third floor drinking privileges. This after numerous denials from the same board. Even though ownership agreed to no live music or DJs on the first floor, that doesn’t matter in the summertime when the retractable roof is open. Have a look-and-listen for yourself. This was Friday night just around midnight. Yes, we understand it’s early, but does it need to be heard throughout the neighborhood? The video doesn’t do it complete justice:
