Bike Lanes Painted on Rivington Street

In the aftermath of the milling and repaving earlier this spring, the narrow streets north of Delancey were marked for bike lanes. It was only a matter of time before the green paint rollers would arrive and start doing their thang. Well, that day arrived yesterday…at least for Rivington.

By dusk, a good portion of the curbside pavement received a fresh coat of green. Whether the bikers actually utilize the lane is another story altogether.
