Here’s Batman and Joker Surfing [Video]

Dark Knight Rises will hit theaters nationwide tomorrow, but don’t expect to have a comfortable viewing experience for at least a couple weeks. Lines, lines, lines. In the meantime, scope out this awesome clip from the original television series.

Watch as Batman and Joker each catch a wave and hang ten. And note the terrible commentary from the beach bums. Killer tropical board shorts, Batman. Surf’s up, brah!

Episode originally aired during season 3 of the series, 1967.

Mathieu Palombino’s 2nd Bowery Diner Replacement is French Spot ‘La Gamelle’

In the Bowery Diner space, a familiar name will soon reappear. Mathieu Palombino pulled the plug on Chez Jef last July. The pop-up culinary experiment had been in operation the four months previous. Busted Water Main Forces Taquitoria on Ludlow Street to Close

The year-old Taquitoria at 168 Ludlow Street is out of commission until further notice. Blame the recent spat of tundra temperatures. A Facebook post reveals that Taquitoria will remain shuttered until […]
