Little Italy Hosting Pizza Eating Contest Tomorrow

Little Italy is hosting another eating event this weekend on Mulberry Street. This time around, organizers (Little Italy Merchants Association) are trading the pasta for pizza.

Little Italy brings back its famous “Pizza Eating Competition” on Saturday, July 14th th @2PM in front of Mulberry Street Bar 176 Mulberry Street. They will also be supplying the pizza from their new pizza oven. Forget the Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest and come to Little Italy for the ultimate in pizza eating as 10 contestants (10 area restaurants nominate one of their regular customers who can eat a lot of pizza!) see who can eat the most pizza in under 10 minutes. The winner gets $100 and trophy and bragging rights till next summer.
