What Happened to “The Star Wars That I Used to Know”? [Video]

Is anyone else sick of hearing Gotye’s “Somebody that I Used to Know”? The dude is so pigeon-holed with this track that it’ll probably be difficult to record a follow-up record that succeeds. However, the song did spawn some pretty awesome covers, like the five-person guitar strum video by Walk Off the Earth that went viral in no time (124 million views).

And following in its footsteps is the following YouTube spoof, “The Star Wars that I Used to Know.” This parody pits the long-fought battle between George Lucas and his legion of Star Wars superfans over his predilection for revisionist history. Darth Vader takes the lead vox while faux-Lucas chimes in with what would be Kimbra’s part.
