EMM Group’s 199 Bowery Revealed as “Finale” [Updated]

Much of what’s happening on the Bowery these days seems so final – broad strokes destruction of the old to make way for the upscale. So the name EMM Group reportedly chose for its forthcoming establishment at 199 Bowery sorta makes sense. The reliable @NYNightlife handle is maintaining that “Finale” is the identity of the sprawling 20,000 square-foot space.

UPDATE: EMM PR says this will not be the name. “There will be multiple concepts that have yet to be named.”

Meanwhile, the restaurant is nowhere near completion behind that two-story, Alec Monopoly-branded plywood. “Fall” is still the target date for launch.
