One and One Switches to Neon Lighting

Two weeks ago, the Daily News proclaimed East Houston the next “big thing” in nightlife that could rival Meatpacking. Makes sense given the neighborhood is basically Lower Eastpacking these days. Anyway, it seems the old guard of drinking establishments needs to react in kind. Have an after-dark gander at neighborhood hangout One and One, for example, and you’ll see what we mean.
The longtanding “analog” marquee lettering that spans the corner now carries some blinding pizzazz. The green backdrop was recently replaced with metal plating and neon lighting. Definitely a much sleeker look to fall in line with the upscaled trajectory of the surroundings.
