Sunshine Cinema Installs Bookending Ad Banners “For a Good Time”

In a rather uncharacteristic move, the Landmark Sunshine Cinema is using its structural bookends to push upcoming theatrical releases. There are now identical ad banners clipped to the masonry, plugging the forthcoming indie film For a Good Time, Call

The placements totally detract from the charming nature of the unique theater. Let’s hope this practice doesn’t become precedent…

Directed by Jamie Travis, For a Good Time, Call focuses on former college frenemies Lauren and Katie. Together they move into a “fabulous” Gramercy Park apartment, and start a phone sex line business to make ends meet. It comes out August 31.
