TAK Mural Takes DAL’s Place at Rag & Bone

The final days of DAL’s short-lived Rag & Bone mural certainly weren’t pretty, as taggers galore sprayed over the barbed lion and cub imagery. But the vandalism itself is moot, as another round of artwork is already making an appearance. Yesterday evening, a pair of painters was spotted brushing their mark onto the Elizabeth Street facade. And the main artist also has a three-letter nickname…
Seitaku “TAK” Aoyama is the latest artist to throw up a commissioned piece at Rag & Bone as part of the “Houston/Project.” Hailing from SoCal by way of Tokyo, TAK produced toys in his native country before eventually opening his own design house in the States.
