The Rubble of 185-191 Bowery

Here’s your weekly demolition update over at the northeast corner of Bowery and Delancey. As of this morning, numbers 187-191 Bowery are completely razed, the skeletal framework of bars and netting replaced with a simple sidewalk fence. Hello, back patio trees.

Ironically, the last man standing was actually first in line at the guillotine – 185 Bowery. The onetime glorious townhouse will be completely erased by the end of the week. Commence CitizenM construction…
