Woman Suffered Seizure Before Plowing Into Canal Storefront

At approximately 5:30 yesterday evening, a car plowed into 314-316 Canal Street, as we first reported. The accident closed off part of the downtown artery during the crux of rush hour. Clusterfuck ensued.

The New York Post followed up with a story last night, reporting that the unidentified female driver suffered a seizure before losing control of the vehicle. She first hit a car driven by James O’Connell before landing in one of the strip’s accessory stores. Boogie reader GMD Three was part of the crowd, and submitted the photos for this post.

The woman was transported to Bellevue Hospital with head trauma.
