Zest Nearly Open at 249 Broome Street

Pay no attention to the shit-brown awning and flag that still carry the Papaya Food branding at 249 Broome Street. Those days are gone. In due course, Zest will try its luck at this address.
While not yet open – the new Japanese joint is wining and dining friends and family – residents still have an opportunity to taste the menu. From 7pm – 10pm tonight, Zest is hosting a free tuna tasting (limited quantity). Employees hangin’ on the benches outside yesterday informed us that official launch is still “soon.” Our guess is sometime in the next couple weeks.
Sandwich board advertises the deal and beckons would-be patrons to find them on Facebook.
