7-Eleven on Delancey is Now Open

The additional glow you probably didn’t want to see is now in play at 142 Delancey Street. As of yesterday, the neighborhood’s latest 7-Eleven is operational. The news comes a couple weeks after the enormous signage was affixed to the facade. Just get ready for the same down on Grand Street, where the Seward Park Co-op board thought it best to import a chain.
Probably the one fleeting silver lining to this story was seeing a cliche realized inside the establishment. Two cops taking a break from their cruiser and buying some provisions for the road.
