Bondi Road Closing for Good on September 30

Posted on: September 25th, 2012 by

As expected, the Moolife Group is officially ending the tenure of Bondi Road at the end of the month. The Australian-themed seafood shack operated at 153 Rivington Street for six years, and became a popular weekend destination for its “Endless Brunch.” However, this success was apparently not enough to offset the alleged decline in business of late.

Anyway, in celebration of their Lower East Side run, the Bondi Road peeps are offering the following “closing week” specials until Sunday.

$2 BEER
$3 MIXED DRINKS
$4 FOOD PLATES

ENDLESS BRUNCH AND SPECIAL EVENING DJ PARTY
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 29 AND SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 30

153 Rivington will not remain vacant for long, though, as the Calexico Mexican food cart is opening a brick-and-mortar establishment here. It’ll be the third non-cart location and first in Manhattan. Their full liquor license is still pending at the State Liquor Authority.

My favorite bar to go to, because it was empty every night. Guess that’s why it’s going out of business. I will miss Dan :(
