DOT Installs CityBench on Clinton Street

The streets are getting more comfortable.
In the words of the Department of Transportation, the nascent CityBench program is “an initiative to increase the amount of public seating on New York City’s streets.” The organization installs “attractive and durable benches” based on requests placed by denizens, but usually favors requests near bus stops, retail corridors, and areas with a higher concentration of senior citizens.
Last month, the Morse-Code-esque furniture arrived outside the Fine Fare supermarket on Clinton Street. This comes as little surprise, as there are many seniors and disabled folks who live in the immediate vicinity.
Benches can be requested by going here. What other locations in the neighborhood do you think are deserving of a CityBench?
