Scenes from Sandy: 154 Madison Hotel Site a Victim

Since the Lower East Side has its fair share of stalled/in-progress construction sites, there’s plenty of risk from the wrath of Hurricane Sandy. Much of the plywood fence was completely downed with the equipment and foundation pit completely exposed.
Cops were quick to arrive and cordoned off the perimeter with tape.
