Scenes from Sandy: East River Flooding South Street
The East River is already spilling onto the parallel bike path of South Street. Water is now completely flush with the bulkhead, attracting the eyes and cameras of numerous passerby. A handful of police cruisers are keeping watch. But even they are not immune to taking pictures.
