The Slipper Room on Orchard Is Operational

Here’s a quick look at the upgraded Slipper Room in action during its soft inauguration last night. This was the return of Seth Herzog’s “Sweet” comedy show to 167 Orchard Street. It’s well-appointed and a far cry from its dumpy predecessor. Spared no expense, it seems. Comedians likened the decor to the bastard child of a funeral home and Moulin Rouge.

This show was the first public performance in the new space. Vanessa Bayer, Eddie Pepitone, Greg Barris, and Victor Varnado were all on the bill.
