Emergency Relief Forum for Lower East Side Business Post-Sandy

Posted on: November 7th, 2012 by

Local businesses affected by Hurricane Sandy can apply for FEMA relief and emergency loans to help regain any footing lost during the storm. Friday morning (9 – 11 am) at 273 Bowery, the U.S. Small Business Administration, NYC Business Solutions, and the Small Business Development Center will provide important information on the protocol of accessing some of this relief money. City and state politicians will be in attendance – Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez, Speaker Sheldon Silver, State Senator Daniel Squadron, Council Member Margaret Chin, et al. The event is co-sponsored by the Lower East Side BID.

Lower East Side businesses can also advertise with Bowery Boogie free of charge during the month of November. Learn more about that here.
