By the third day, the blackout aftermath of Hurricane Sandy had already become routine. In search of food, water, and a charge – such was life in the DMZ. Here we see a Chinese woman parked at a Grand Street fire hydrant, preparing a midday meal by rinsing a bucket of shrimp and veggies.
