Scenes from Sandy: Watch the East River Storm Surge [VIDEO]
The storm chaser within is responsible for the following video. Against our better judgement, we just had to check out the storm surge Monday evening during the height of Hurricane Sandy. As you can see, the water inched its way to Cherry Street and the Pathmark parking lot.
We were unable to post this footage until now. Note that filming this was scary as hell, and cops weren’t thrilled by our presence…
