Adam Sandler Sings “Screw Ya” to Sandy During “12-12-12” Benefit [Video]

During last night’s all-star “12-12-12” Sandy relief event, Adam Sandler (with Paul Shaffer on keys) performed a great rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” Sandler telling Sandy to go fuck herself, in so many words. Plenty of memorable nuggets dropped into the verses with a similar tongue-in-cheek delivery style of his mega-hit “Hanukkah Song,” including the chorus of “Sandy, screw ya, we’ll get through ya, because we’re New Yawkers.”

After five hours of fundraising through song, this four-minute parody stands out as one of the few highlights. Lyric of choice – “the puke on your stoops every Sunday morn/Times Square losin all its porn/original Ray’s Pizza closin’ too-ya.”
