“Modern Seinfeld” Tackles Present Day Plotlines

You’ve probably seen this already, but there’s a funny new parody Twitter account making the rounds. Meet “Modern Seinfeld,” a 21st Century look at what plotlines could have been if the show was still on the air. The name already has some 60,000 followers, thanks to tons of love from the world wide web and tweets such as the following:
George’s parents claim their house was destroyed by “Sandy,” move in with George. He discovers the house is fine. Sandy is a loud neighbor.

Yahoo! News learns that the brains behind the Twitter handle (@SeinfeldToday) is Buzzfeed’s own sports editor Jack Moore, who shot around the idea with his comedian friend Josh Gondelman.
