The south store of 179 Orchard Street is tough to please these days. The most recent tenant was Delicate Raymond Jewelery, which just relocated south of Delancey due to drastic rent hikes.

Another fashion retailer is apparently okay with the higher rent, and has since claimed 179 Orchard as home. Here now is Synchronicity, specializing in women’s accessories.

Center Medians Installed on East Houston Street This Weekend

Any given day, the stretch of Houston Street east of Eldridge looks like a scene plucked directly from the celluloid of E.T.
