Despite bitter cold conditions, the Lower East Side film shoot for Are We Officially Dating? commenced undeterred yesterday. Apparently the scene in question involves Miles Teller’s character getting nailed by a taxi in the intersection of Orchard and Broome Streets. Zac Efron is seen standing at the southeast corner.

Boogie reader Christopher Thompson sent along the following video clip showing one of the takes.

Cast and crew hung around into the early evening, seen filming inside 88 Orchard, seemingly the go-to space these days to film a generic coffee shop scenes.

Sinking Sidewalk on Orchard Street a Continual Threat; This is How the City Reacts

How deep must this corner pit sink before the city starts paying attention? For months, the sidewalk at Orchard and Delancey has been gradually dipping below street level.
