151 Ludlow Street transformed from a boutique shop into a pizza parlor in roughly one month. This doughy feat must be some sort of real estate record. Golf clap!

La Margarita Pizza opened here in the heart of Hell Square earlier this week, entering a rather crowded slice market. The hole-in-the-wall eatery boasts three tables and a counter within a rustic setting. Bottles of olive oil and other cooking essentials sit on the window sill, while the multi-colored grand opening flags line the exterior.

Since scaffolding dominates the entrance, La Margarita also assumed control of the facade flagpole above the adjacent storefront.

Have you tried the pizza at La Margarita? What’s the verdict?

Why Chinatown Will Continue to Function as a Bus Terminal

“Chinatown Bus enforcement is a top priority,” CO Captain Joseph Simonetti of the 7th Precinct acknowledged at this month’s community affairs meeting.
