Found Footage of Early Rage Against the Machine [VIDEO]
Coming off the twentieth anniversary of Rage Against the Machine, there is most definitely a groundswell of renewed demand for the kickass band. The classic 1992 debut was re-released as “XX” with tons of bonus material, there were rumors of a reunion after a Tim Commerford comment last year, and Tom Morello even appeared onstage with LL Cool J and Chuck D at the Grammy’s.
And then there’s this nugget of brilliance. Archival footage of baby-faced Rage Against the Machine, half sans shirts, playing a crammed gig inside Long Beach record shop, ZeD’s Records. The 40-minute in-store-set went down March 29, 1992, and features the head-bangin’ future classics.
