Rag & Bone Designates “Graffiti Area” on Elizabeth Street Wall

Rag & Bone is taking the “clean slate” approach to its latest mural project. If you can even call it that. Rather than artwork, the unaffordable boutique decided to instead invite vandals to mark up the Elizabeth Street facade. A host of taggers have already obliged in the last couple days. This’ll be an interesting experiment. Will it backfire?
Rag & Bone has been curating wall art at its 73 East Houston locale since first opening here in the summer of 2010. The high-end threads shop replaced longtime neighborhood favorite Cafe Colonial.
