‘Mr. Robot’ Brought a Tower of Trash to Straus Square Last Night
Did you see that massive pile of junk sitting in Straus Square? In case you were wondering, the tower of trash, so to speak, was actually set dressing for the Mr. Robot film shoot that happened around Seward Park yesterday. “No Parking” signs posted in the vicinity alerted residents to the show’s alias, “The Norwich Follies.”
This was the second time in the last several weeks that production on the popular series took up residence in the neighborhood. With good reason, as the main character in Mr. Robot lives in an apartment at 217 East Broadway.
That said, the crew might want to wash this stuff, as this little traffic island is a choice bathroom for many a neighborhood dog.
