Mike thinks he knows everything about music, and if given the opportunity, will gladly talk to you about it constantly. Sometimes he gets bored and decides to write these random thoughts down in his blog where he discusses everything that’s musically Brooklyn, or at his other blog where he discusses everything that’s musically yacht rock. When he’s not talking about music, he’s making it himself. Recently, he finds writing silly tunes about the lives of 2D cartoons a great use for his 2 academic degrees.

SummerStage at the CBGB Festival

The 100-degree temperatures were practically begging for us all to figure out a way to chill, and with massively extended solos and groove jams, the bands playing CBGB Festival’s SummerStage show this past Saturday, figured out a way to make it happen.
