Sweet Grapes Wine Bar to Open Within Four Weeks

Over the weekend, the security gates were raised at 39 Essex Street, now home to Sweet Grapes Wine Bar.  A handful of people were congregated inside, talking and watching TV on the fresh LCD screen. We were told that the new drinking establishment will begin serving once the licensing paperwork arrives, expected within three to four weeks.  This puts the opening just a month past schedule.
