These days, it seems that indie concert promoter Bowery Presents can do no wrong.  The brand continues to expand its presence throughout the city, and now, further north into Boston.

Coming Soon: Pubblico Espresso Bar at 124 MacDougal

Just two short months after Esperanto Cafe called it quits, a new java joint is opening a few doors north at 124 MacDougal Street.  Signs hanging in the papered windows above the underground Rabbit Club advertise a Pubblico Espresso Bar.

Felix Morelo Brings His Faces to the Bowery

While strolling the Bowery yesterday morning, we came across a hopscotch matrix of faces chalked on the sidewalk outside the Bowery Mission.  Spanning nearly half the concrete between Rivington and Stanton, the graffiti layout included 180 faces, marked at various numeric intervals, as well as a “good luck spot” starting circle.  Check it out before the imminent rains erase what’s left.
