Billy Gibbons Returns for Varvatos Ad

After a six month hiatus, ZZ Top frontman Billy Gibbons has returned as the proverbial mouthpiece (beardpiece?) for the John Varvatos brand.  Much like last time, this current ad in the Houston/Greene Street bus stop definitely subtracts from his badass quotient.

After a February wrought with extreme weather, the neighborhood infrastructure is suffering.  And now that the snow has finally melted, we can analyze the aftermath!  New plow-induced potholes are seemingly everywhere, like this one on East Houston at the mouth of Orchard Street.

With foreclosure looming high above its eight-plus stories, the vacant 290 Mulberry – designed and built by SHoP Architects – is deteriorating before our very eyes. A section of the gray siding is bubbling and peeling.
