Hundreds Line Up Outside Apple SoHo for iPhone 4

Right now, on one of the hottest, most sweltering days thus far this summer, hundreds are queued outside the Apple Store in SoHo for the new iPhone 4.  The line wraps around Greene Street, east along Houston, and back south onto Wooster.  Almost a whole city block!

An example of when street statements start taking cues from Twitter.  Numerous printouts across Greenwich Village and eastward implore pedestrians to re-tweet the message, “RT #HITHARD #OILSPILL.”

Houston Dog Walk, Redux

At waist-height, these neighborhood Great Danes are quite the moving spectacle.  Whenever the dog-walker is out and about with them, sidewalkers stare with awe.  And not without cause – these pets are friggin’ ginormous.

Lady Gaga at Remedy Diner on East Houston

Lady Gaga returned to the Lower East Side recently, and was seen dining at Remedy on East Houston.  Viewtheparty.com was there, and captured the pop star exiting the premises.

Taxi Driver, Midnight at Sunshine Cinema

There’s always room in the calendar for more viewings of Taxi Driver.  The Scorsese classic is the midnight movie at the Sunshine Cinema this weekend.
