View CommentsEarlier this year, construction workers at the new Broadway-Lafayette superstation decapitated one of the downtown 6 Bleecker Street entrances. The result was months of sidewalk closure and pedestrian aggravation.

View CommentsYesterday evening, it seemed as though all of downtown Manhattan was under lockdown, thanks to President Obama’s visit. Police were on nearly every single corner. By the time our commander-in-chief motored down Houston to Anna Wintour’s residence on Sullivan Street, however, it was nearly dusk.
