After a couple months of preparation, Pizza Junkie is now open at 11 Stanton Street, just a stone’s throw from Pulino’s Bar and Pizzeria.  The late-night slice-shop quietly opened last week on a staggered schedule.

This Sunday (2/28) is the first Sunday Show of 2010 at the Slipper Room on Orchard Street. One of the regular performers informed us that a portion of proceeds from this show will go toward ensuring Zucco can return to France.

Watching garbage trucks negotiate the narrowest of city streets is always quite remarkable.  Of course, much to the dismay of trapped motorists.  That’s when the horns start sounding.  This particular truck eventually made it through.

Now that the Space of *Love is up and running at 116 Suffolk Street, Organic Avenue officially ditched its longtime locale at 101 Stanton Street.  That property is now for lease, with the requisite signage hanging in the windows.
