Last modified November 16, 2017 at 9:24 am

Tokyobike’sbrief flirtation with the Bowery came to an end late last month. Seemingly without warning, the store closed down, with brown window shades taking up residence. Brown window dressing had been in place ever since Tokyobike ditched 1 Prince Street earlier this fall. That wasn’t a surprise, as the upscale bicycle brand was only in it for the short run. Just a couple months of dormancy, and now the cornershop on the Bowery (owned by Bari Restaurant Equipment) is ready for […]

The Bowery just lost another restaurant supplier – Prince Restaurant Equipment at 241 Bowery. Earlier this week, we watched as one ladder-bound laborer carefully removed the orange awning from the storefront. Directly below, a store for rent sign is affixed to the window near the entrance of the Sunshine Hotel.

259 Bowery Now For Lease

Posted October 8, 2010 at 6:14 am

After news broke yesterday about the departure of York’s Shona Gallery from 1 Prince Street, another upper Bowery vacancy is currently in the works.  Indeed, it didn’t take too long for the leasing signs to appear at 259 Bowery in the wake of the Sperone Westwater Gallery inauguration last month.
