At the moment, a good third of the rumored “faulty concrete” from years past has been reduced to an assorted mid-block mess.

While we haven’t spotted any return to construction recently, a new leasing banner just appeared above the front door to the future lodge.

One of the longest running eyesores of recent memory on the Lower East Side is most certainly the Orchard Street Hell Building. It’s alive!
