The following is a play-by-play of sorts for some of the applicants. Most notable, of course, was the cold shoulder given to Sunshine Cinema for its "dinner-and-a-movie" proposition.

A purported "restaurant" isn't the only drama currently transpiring at 106 Rivington Street. There is an eviction battle here and it's been going on since the late 1980s.
Preserve 24 Seeking Approval for Allen Street Vestibule

Preserve 24 received a rather ambivalent approval from CB3 in April 2011 despite plenty of local opposition. Now they wish to construct a semi-permanent enclosure at the main entrance on Allen Street.
