New Left Turn Lane for Bowery Bikers

Bicycle safety enhancements on the Lower East Side continue.  Early Friday morning, DOT personnel were out painting a cyclist left turn lane at the eastern junction of Bowery and Prince Street, right outside the New Museum.  By the end of the day, the project was fully realized.

250 Bowery is Kaput

One year ago, financial woes over a new eight-story, eco-friendly Bowery hotel plagued FLAnk Architects to the point of foreclosure. In that time, 250 Bowery has slowly decayed into a veritable urban wasteland.  A dormant pit of doom defined by overgrowth, rusty steel pylons, and errant trash. At least YOINK is still there!

Northbound FDR to Close for 24-Hours
