Curb Your Enthusiasm Filming Near Mulberry Today

After capturing some indoor and outdoor scenes around East Fourth Street on Monday, it looks like Curb Your Enthusiasm is in the neighborhood again today.  There are now filming signs posted along Mulberry Street, north of East Houston, indicating the production as “C-Y-E.”  Covert.

Lights Out Filming on Great Jones Today

FX is gearing up for a full day of filming today for its new original series Lights Out.  Traffic cones are already holding spots along the entire length of Great Jones Street – between Bowery and Broadway – for the inevitable arrival of Haddad’s trailers.

Today and tomorrow, the forthcoming feature Jack and Diane will be filming along Ludlow, between Hester and Grand Streets. The independent movie is directed by Bradley Rust Gray (Hitch).

Richard Price’s LES-centric bestseller, Lush Life, is jumping from page to canvas.  Throughout the summer, a collection of sixty artists in nine (of the gazillion) neighborhood galleries will attempt to interpret the storyline.  Each venue corresponds to one of the chapters in the book.

Al Pacino Spotted Filming Son of No One on MacDougal

Yesterday afternoon, the in-production crime thriller Son of No One was filming inside Caffe Dante at 79 MacDougal Street.  Lead star Al Pacino sat in a director’s chair curbside for a good amount of time, drawing stares (and cameras) from giddy passersby.  This production was last seen on Grand Street back in mid-April.
