The Allen Street hot dog wars ended last month in a victory for the year-old Los Peros Locos. Indeed, its more ambitious cross-street nemesis Links just failed out of business. Come fall, two similar establishments will spark a Lower East Side hot dog war. Both businesses are located within spitting distance at the head of Allen Street.
