Denizens of Spring Street, get ready for a waxing! The so-called Ministry of Waxing is slated to move into the recently-renovated 56 Spring Street sometime this summer under the moniker Strip.

The nascent sub-level gallery-slash-wine bar space at 9 Clinton Street, CULTUREfix, is bringing along Brooklyn-based Dijital Fix as its upstairs neighbor.  Both venues are in soft open mode, and are currently gearing up for an official launch on Friday.

The most important news here isn’t that the newest Subway outpost at 66 Delancey opens for business today. Or that the requisite grand opening sigange and stream of colorful flags are in place.
