In response to Friday’s post about the new restaurant opening at 101 Stanton Street, the proprietor wrote in to set the record straight. Notably, that the establishment is called MELTED, not Meltdown as previously reported (yes, the sign was vandalized).

When the Community Board 3 SLA docket was released for the month of April, the applicant for 101 Stanton Street was still an unknown entity.  It was just another “Corp to be formed” seeking a simple wine and beer license. No longer.

Now that the Space of *Love is up and running at 116 Suffolk Street, Organic Avenue officially ditched its longtime locale at 101 Stanton Street.  That property is now for lease, with the requisite signage hanging in the windows.

Organic Avenue is reportedly expanding its neighborhood presence.  A reader sent in the following intel regarding a newly-leased Suffolk Street location:
I had a brief conversation with the owner (or who I think the owner) of Organic Avenue on Saturday. They are now renting the old Rothko space on Suffolk Street across from the CSV [Clemente [...]
