Calling all cougars to the Lower East Side.  Seriously, these advertisements for the new ABC show Cougar Town are ubiquitous – phonebooths, subway stations, buses, etc.  Tuesday morning, a giant banner was placed in the ad space above the Bowery Ballroom, with its little sibling located above the entrance to the JMZ stop.

Okay, someone please tell us how you lose a red-eared slider turtle at the corner of Bowery and Houston.  We’re all ears at this point.  On a more serious note, though, be on the lookout for Shredder and his evil posse of swashbuckling fools.  Apparently he’s on the prowl for some decent turtle soup.

Another phonebooth ad for Vampire Diaries at the corner of Second Avenue and Ninth Street is sparking some discourse from the locals. Based on the speech balloon graffiti, it seems the sultry campaign has touched a nerve.

Unlike the official Vamp Phone on Broome Street, at least this bill was placed right-side-up in the frame.
